I designed this logo for a quick service restaurant that served Japanese rice balls, or musubi. The logo character is a combination of a rice ball and a Daruma. The Daruma is a Japanese cultural icon based on a mythical Buddhist Monk from India who brought Buddhist teachings, or the Dharma, to Japan.
